SIMTA synthetic sandwich spindle tapes are manufactured with machinery of the state-of-the-art technology and superior quality raw materials. It consists of three layers.

1. COLORED LAYER - Synthetic polymer meant for better grip to transmit maximum power from the tin roller.
2. WHITE LAYER - Specialised polymer fabric with natural fibre to absorb the heat in the spindles and also to prevent the speed variation in three spindles when one spindle is stopped for piecing.
3. 100% polyamide in the middle to avoid elongation and boost up physical properties.

• Saves upto 16% in power consumption compared to conventional cotton tapes.
• Very low slip character due to better grip and practically Zero elongation.
• Very low variation in spindle speeds even when one spindle is stopped.

Joining Press and Adhesive

Simta joining press - SM1, is used to make a perfect joint of the spindle tapes. The effective joining area of the press is 65 x 35 mm. Two tapes of 13 mm and lesser widths of tapes can be joined simultaneously. Tapes wider than 13 mm is advised to join one at a time upto a maximum width of 40 mm.

Simta joining adhesive - J.A.1, is a specially manufactured solution used to join the skived portion of the spindle tapes to an optimum level.

Skiving Machine

Simta Skiving machine works with a single phase 230 v motor, which is used to prepare the ends of the tape ready for joining. The machine can accommodate tapes of maximum 1 mm thickness, and with an effective working width of 50 mm.

 

 

 

 

Carding Apron

Simta Carding Apron is a special product for the Approdoff unit in carding machine. Reinforced with synthetic fabric, the carding apron has a smooth polymer layer on both the sides, to ensure efficient operation.
